Market Square Lanes has great Fundraising ideas and events for lots of groups. Every school, organization, or group seeks to raise money for one reason or another.

Why should you host your fund raiser at Market Square Lanes?
We will be happy to meet with any group seeking to raise money for anything to present our many fundraising formats and help YOU raise the money you need!
Here are a few examples of some successful fundraising events:
50/50 PARTY
The 50/50 party is the easiest way to raise funds. Simply choose and date and we will reserve those lanes for you. We have a variety of formats for this but the most common one is each person would get 2 hours of bowling and shoe rental for $6 per person. You would then sell entries to your event for $12 or an amount of your choosing. Events of this type have raised as many as 100 people in attendance raising $600 for the organization. Another way to raise funds during this event is to have a 50/50 drawing or collect prizes and have a silent auction during the event.
BOWL A THON
A bowl a thon requires a bit more work and organization. It is similar to a walk a thon. Participants will collect pledges from sponsors for cents per pin, usually .01-.05 cents per pin or people could give a flat donation. A minimum of 5 sponsors would be required or another of your choosing. Participants will bowl 2 games then collect pledges based on the combined scores for 2 games. You would pay us $6 per person, which would include shoes, and the difference in the pledges is what you would make!
FUN TOURNAMENT
A fun tournament is run with 3 fun games. We have over 12 games to choose from for your event. You can do a different game for each event. For example, you can bowl game one as a 9 pin no-tap game (9 pins down on the 1st ball and it coutns as a strike), Game 2 as a 3,6,9 (automatic strikes in the 3rd, 6th, and 9th frames) and a regular game of bowling. The entry fee could be whatever you would like. We would charge you $6 for the three games of bowling and shoes. For example you could charge $16 entry fee per peson. Of this, $6 is paid for bowling, $5 is established as a prize fund to reward high scores, usually paid 1 in 5 bowlers receive awards, and $5 is paid to the organization. Attendance of 50 people would raise $250 for the organization.
BOWLING PARTY
The bowling party is for groups that are well organized and requires a dedicated party committee. Tickets for this event would be set for a certain price which covers 2 games of bowling, rental shoes, and some select food items and soft drinks. All of the ticket price would be paid to the bowling center.
The organization would secure sponsors for each lane which represent the amount the organization keeps. For example, charging $100 per game would net the organization $2400 if all the lanes were sold. During the event, silent auctions and 50/50 drawings are held to generate more funds for the organization.
